2017 Fiat 124 review - At the end of 2015, Fiat
entered a new sports car niche by launching the 124 Spider, neo-retro
interpretation of the roadster class was originally built between 1966 and
1982. Based on the ND-generation Mazda Miata, a compact two-seater received the
styling of its own and this powerplant based on the Abarth 500 , In early 2016,
Fiat do what the rest of the industry is expected to do: show off version of
the Abarth 124 with a sporty appearance and a more powerful engine. But while
the standard of 2017 Fiat 124 already made it to the US, only Abarth
unveiled on European specifications, leaving North America to wait for its own
roadster Scorpion-badged.
Waiting ends in 2016 New York Auto Show, where Fiat launched
the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Elaborazione.
2017 Fiat 124 Abarth Style
Although powered by the standard engine of 2017 Fiat 124,
the Elaborazione is sporty with Spider ordinary proposition, featuring a
variety of add-ons that are not available with the stock model. The styling is
inspired by the Euro-spec Abarth models, while the interior has enough stuff to
stand out. While the drivetrain is as standard as they get, the chassis offers
a lot of new components that are designed to provide a more engaging experience
behind the wheel. All told, Elaborazione developed for the slot between the
standard 124 Spider and more powerful and sporty of 2017 Fiat 124 Abarth.
It may not have the Scorpion badge on the nose, but it was more than worthy of
the name Abarth.
Style of 2017 Fiat 124, Elaborazione is the Abarth
124 without badge Scorpion and some minor features. In front, it sports the
same honeycomb mesh grille, air vents with black plastic surround, larger,
lower grille revisions with integrated foglamps, and a matte black hood. The
only feature missing here is the Abarth Scorpion badges and red lines on the
splitter.
The interior of 2017 Fiat 124 have smooth changes,
but so also were applied to the 124 Abarth. For Elaborazione, Fiat went with
the red (Rosso) stitching on leather-wrapped steering wheel, instrument cluster
hood, lower instrument panel, and the parking brake, and matte-black dashboard
bezels. To set it further apart from the standard 124 Spider, Italy also add
custom instrument cluster, sport aluminum pedal accents, and unique gear shift
knob. Thanks for visit lads.
