2016 Lincoln Navigator review - When Lincoln says it wants to
make a big splash at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, they clearly
undersold the whole concept of making a splash. American car maker who made his
name in the premium luxury segment has been in the peripherals in recent years,
but boy, oh boy, does it pick the right time to spread its wings with the
opening of the Concept 2016 Lincoln Navigator.
I mean that literally and
figuratively because as you can see, it has a large gullwing doors are almost
out of the movie Transformers. Speaking of size, everything about the 2016
Lincoln Navigator concept is very large, as if it was trying to
intimidate the rest of the premium SUV segment by stretching the muscles to
show that OG has returned to reclaim the throne was vacated long.
Like it or not, Concept Navigator
is a showstopper. Do not rely on the production version to be anywhere close to
this, but for what it's worth, President Lincoln Kumar Galhotra did say that
the concept provides "strong evidence" of what the production model
will look like when it hits the market in 2017. If there is even an ounce of
truth in what Galhotra said, I will be waiting with baited breath to see if the
new 2016 Lincoln Navigator has the meat to once again revolutionize the
luxury SUV segment.
New Design of 2016 Lincoln Navigator
Early returns from the concept
version seems to point in that direction so let us all hope that Lincoln will
not disappoint us. On the surface, the design of 2016 Lincoln Navigator
does not really look like a concept. There is a strong production instructions
throughout the body and, from a certain angle, even reminds me of the Range
Rover Sport, although one in PEDs. However, the perception of 2016 Lincoln
Navigator actually develops when the parts are moving start, well, move.
Pull out the latch to open the door and they Gullwings soon rise like an eagle
flying. The doors are large in size, which makes it even more impressive to see
how they open. They may be really heavy too considering that they are basically
comprised of front and rear door SUV. Imagine trying to shut doors down from
the cabin; You may get the muscles in your arms in no time.
Personality-driven as the 2016 Lincoln Navigator
exterior, the design team came up with this concept still managed to
provide a more evocative interior design. Lincoln himself acknowledged that the
reason why people are added gullwing doors is to use them to display a stuffed
plush cabin of the SUV. Space and improvement is the dominant theme of the
interior and it is easy to see why Lincoln took this approach. SUV customers
want two things above all else when it comes to the cabin. Thanks for visit
lads.
